Four ingredients, four hours, one mouthwatering dish with leftovers for days. Enjoy! This simple yet delicious recipe will be the star of your dinner table, impressing everyone with its flavors.
Ingredients

1 6lb Lamb Shoulder Roast
-
⅓ cup Greek Freak Rub
-
¼ cup of Earth Balance
-
2 bunches of fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, sage)
Directions
Pre-heat overn to 425 F
Combine Greek Freak rub with Earth balance so you have a herbaceous paste.
Spread the paste all over the shoulder roast so it is completely covered.
Place lamb shoulder roast into a dutch oven and into the over for 15 minutes. Top off.
Remove roast from the oven and lower heat to 285 F
Place back into the oven with lid on. Add parchment paper to help retain moisture.
Set oven time for 3 hours and 30 minutes
Leave roast in oven for an additional hour once it shuts off from the timer.
Remove from oven.
Shred & enjoy!
Recipe Note
One of the keys to this recipe is letting the roast sit in the oven for a couple hours once the over has turned off. Those final hours if you have them available will do wonders to your roast.
