Introducing a Chu home kitchen recipe! We call it Bang Bang Chicken but it's more commonly known as Gochujang Marinated Chicken Thighs. This recipe brings together the rich, spicy flavors of Korean cuisine with a tangy twist of lime. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a weekend BBQ. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate. For the best possible results let those cutlets sit for at least 24 hours! Looking forward to your feedback!
Ingredients
-
1 pack Saraโs Spring Chicken Boneless Thigh Filets
-
1 cup WeLoveYouKBBQ Gochujang Chili Sauce
-
Juice of 2 limes
-
1 splash of sesame oil
-
1 splash of mirin
-
1 tablespoon of miso
-
โ cup seltzer
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Gochujang Chili Sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, mirin, miso, and seltzer. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are fully integrated.
Add the boneless chicken thigh filets to the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the contents to a resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, but ideally for 24 hours to maximize flavor.
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan to high heat.
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off.
Sear the chicken thighs for 7 minutes on each side, achieving a nice char.
Move the chicken to indirect heat and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 170ยฐF.
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Gochujang Marinated Chicken Thighs with your favorite sides.
