Cooking Tips
The Denver steak is incredibly versatile. For a classic preparation, sear over high heat for 2-3 minutes per side and finish in a 375°F oven until medium rare (125°F internal). Rest for 5 minutes. This cut also excels when sliced thin for yakiniku-style grilling or shabu shabu. The grain runs lengthwise, so always slice across it for the most tender result. A light finish of flaky Maldon salt is all the embellishment this steak needs.
