KOSHER

Learn about kosher wagyu beef. What is it? Where does it come from? Why is it expensive? What does it taste like?

Kashrut at Chu's Meat Market

We get this question a lot, so here's the simple answer.

Every product we sell is processed and packaged off-site at certified kosher facilities under proper kosher supervision. Since we don't do any food processing or handling in our stores, we're not required to have an on-site kosher certificate or mashgiach. It's the same idea as picking up an Empire chicken at Trader Joe's or a kosher brisket at Costco. The certification comes from where the product is processed, not where you buy it.

The difference? Chu's Meat Market is a Jewish family-owned and operated business.
