Wagyu Kalbi / Galbi Ribs


Ingredients
3/4 cup soy sauce
2/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup mirin
1 garlic clove, minced
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 lbs Kosher Fullblood Wagyu Korean Short Ribs
If you don't have the time or patience to make this sauce from scratch you can pick up a bottle of Authentic Korean BBQ Sauce from We Love You at our market.
Steps
1) Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, water, mirin, sesame oil, garlic and onion
2) Cover Fullblood Wagyu Korean Short Ribs with mixture
3) Marinate 1-24 hours in the refrigerator
4) Heat grill or pan to highest possible heat
5) Sear Ribs for 3 minutes on each side
6) Rest for 5 minutes
7) Cut between the bones
8) Enjoy!

Here's a recipe for Authentic Korean Style Ribs otherwise known as Galbi or Kalbi. Made with our 100% Fullblood Kosher Wagyu and umami filled Korean flavor profiles.
Ingredients

2lb Kosher Fullblood Wagyu Korean Ribs OR

2lb Kosher Angus Flanken Ribs

¾ cup soy sauce
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
¾ cup water
-
¼ cup mirin
-
1 tablespoon sesame oil
-
2 minced garlic cloves
-
3 chopped scallions
Marinade
Directions
Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, water, mirin, sesame oil, garlic and onion
Cover wagyu ribs with marinade mixture
Marinate for 3 - 24 hours
Heat grill or pan to highest possible heat
Sear ribs for 2-3 minutes on each side
Rest for 5 minutes
Slice between the bones
Enjoy!
