The blade is hand forged from Japanese sword steel (blue-paper steel). The ferrule is traditional blackened cast iron. The ergonomically shaped wenge handle fits perfectly in the hand and makes working with the extremely sharp blade a pleasure. An eye-catcher in the kitchen and a valuable work tool.
