How to cook a perfect Kosher Wagyu Skirt Steak

100% Fullblood Kosher Wagyu Skirt Steak. The days of soaking your kosher Skirt Steak are gone. This piece of Kosher Wagyu is cut from the Plate section of our Wagyu cows.

Step 1) Defrost your Kosher Wagyu Steak.

Step 2) Pat your skirt dry with a paper towel.

If you have a low salt tolerance or prefer to soak your skirt steak do so in cold water for approx. 20-30 minutes.

Step 3) Drain the bowl and pat the wagyu skirt steak dry with a paper towel.

Try to get as much moisture out of the meat as possible to enjoy a nice crust. DON"T WORRY ABOUT THE COLOR OF THE MEAT AT THIS POINT.

Step 4) Heat your pan or grill to high heat, crank her up!

If using a grill make sure to move the wagyu skirt steak around frequently to build your crust.

Step 5) Once smoking hot, place the wagyu skirt steak in/on the pan/grill away fromย  you and cook 2.5 - 3 minutes on each side.

Using the wagyu fat in place of oil will act as a beef tallow during the searing process.

Step 6) Remove the steak from the pan/grill and rest for 5 minutes on a cooling rack

Step 7) Cut your wagyu skirt steak into 3 section and rotate 90 degrees to cut against the grain.

Step 8) Enjoy!ย
